Mumbaikars made a beeline to Nehru Centre, as the three day Mumbai Yoga fest kicked off to grand start at 6.30 am in the morning this weekend.
From regular disciplined yogis, to curious explorers to fitness freaks, people from all works of life participated with great zest, zeal and enthusiasm. This event was spear headed by shammi’s Yogalaya foundation, headed by Shammi Gupta and further backed by distinguished yoga teachers from various reputed Yoga organizations and institutes.
On spectacular display where dynamic headstands, yoga for kids, yoga for senior citizens, prenatal yoga, mudra session, health and nutrition awareness, chakra introduction and a lot more. Most participants found the experience extremely enriching and liberating and further promised to comeback for more action on day two and day three.
The Suryathon challenge at R city mall, Ghatkopar (West), on day three (21st June) is the next major, much awaited event of the Mumbai Yoga Fest.
Shammi Yogalaya Foundation’s yoga expertise has touched lives across all walks of life from corporate head honchos to celebrities to housewives to students and senior citizens. The Foundation works on the singular mission of transforming lives through Yoga.
