Rouble Nagi Art Foundation Hosts Art Evening

Acclaimed muralist and artist Rouble Nagi has been running the Rouble Nagi Art Foundation, an NGO that works with underprivileged children since the past seven years.​ ​RNAF teaches children to be disciplined, hardworking and have mutual respect for each other, via the medium of art. Each year a show is hosted to present their annual collection of works to a buying audience that appreciate and supports the works of talented children.

This year, Rouble Nagi

​hosted an​ exhibit of the new collection of works by underprivileged children over a day long preview at Olive, Bandra in Mumbai. Close to sixty works will be exhibited across various styles and genres of art, leaving viewers pleasantly surprised by the level of skill and how each student has been specially moulded to further sharpen his/her talent by the RNAF.​ Guests seen admiring the works done by the children included Sushmita Sen, Smita Thackeray, Praful Patel, Zayed Khan, Aditya Thackeray, Sushant Singh, Kaykasshan Patel, Resham Hemdev, Anjalee Kapoor, Aarti Surendranath, Palak Sheth, ​Maheka Mirpuri, Sangeeta Singh, Troy Costa, Vikas Bahl, Sharmilla Khanna, Anita Dongre, Emraan Hashmi, Michelle Poonawala,Anmol Mallik etc. Many of the guests bought the works, lending their support to the talented children being trained by RNAF.

​Founded by Indian mural artist Rouble Nagi,​ ​RNAF is independent, with no religious, political or governmental affiliation. “For me the work I do is very personal, and i like to give a 100% always”. This NGO was formed to help children realize and achieve their goals in life, to help them grow as individuals via the medium of art The RNAF art camps help underprivileged children to build a sense of self identity and self-worth vis art.

Rouble Nagi encourages children to express their views and be actively involved in improving their communities. Artist / Muralist Rouble Nagi believes children must realise their full potential in societies which respect people’s right and dignity.

This beautifully curated evening will be inaugurated by none other than Smita Thackeray and Suhsmita Sen.

” Our vision is to Educate the underprivileged, help make a child cheerful, healthy and creative who is respected in the society and whose rights are protected” concludes Rouble Nagi.
