Tell us about your tryst with Bollywood?
Bollywood dreams are like greatness – you have to be born special to achieve or realise them. Right from my childhood, I know that the lure of fine arts was pulling me towards a unidirectional voyage. “And my destination… makes it worth the while… Pushing through the darkness… still another mile… I believe in angels… something good in everything I see… I have a dream… A song to sing… To help me cope with anything…” Guided by these words, I started believing that I was truly meant to do something daringly different and special in tinsel town. I did my MBA so that I could be a thinking actress. My stints as a model, anchor, event planner & artiste manager made me gear up for the things to come. It was natural for me to evolve from short films to print ads to TVCs to catalogue shoots to ramp walks to an actress. And when the opportunity came, it was almost as if my computer programme was running to its logical conclusion. I had to be in Bollywood with the A-listers.
