Criteo partnered with Tata CLiQ to deliver customised and dynamic shopping experience

Criteo (NASDAQ: CRTO), the advertising platform for the open Internet, announced that its data driven technology has enabled Tata CLiQ, Tata Group’s multi-brand, Phygital e-commerce platform in India, to better understand their shoppers’ online browsing behaviour. The App Advertising through Criteo Dynamic Retargeting has helped TataCLiQ in delivering visually appealing ads and increasing their customer engagement. Within a year of partnership with Criteo, the company witnessed 1.5 times increase in ROI, 7 percent increase in business contribution on a month-on-month basis and 20-40 percent increase in average revenue per user (ARPU).

As a trend there has been a rapid rise in customers using multiple devices and multiple platforms while browsing for shopping. Therefore, targeting the consumer at the right time, providing convenience and personalized engagement has been the key to achieve the desired results. Criteo as a brand has been eyeing these trends and specialized in providing solutions that would best fit in these scenarios. Tata ClassEdge launches Teachers’ Month campaign

Tata ClassEdge, a leading provider of technology-based learning solutions, will be hosting a month-long campaign dedicated to teachers, called the Teachers’ Month to celebrate their contribution to nation building. Through this campaign Tata ClassEdge wants to provide a platform for participants to share fond memories of their favourite teachers and express their gratitude to them for all that they have done.

The campaign will be carried out in two phases. The first one has been launched on Tuesday, 21 August where participants can post online entries. An on-ground initiative has begun on Wednesday, 22 August where message drop boxes will be deployed across schools for students to participate by dropping their entries in to these boxes. The best messages will be hand-delivered to the teachers along with a gift.

Last year the campaign received a total of 1.8 lakh entries and a campaign reach of more than 4 million. This time, the campaign is looking at targeting more than 1000 schools to replicate the success in a row.

TMM 2019 Launch Registration

Procam International, pioneers of distance running events in India, today announced the opening of registrations for the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2019, beginning 29th July 2018.  The Tata Mumbai Marathon is jointly sponsored by the Tata Sons and Tata Consultancy Services. The USD 405,000 IAAF Silver Label event will be celebrating its 16th edition in keeping its date with runners in the Maximum City on Sunday 20th January 2019. Given the euphoric rise in the running community in the country, for the 2019 edition, a total of 46,000 running places will be up for grabs across six different categories.

As a forerunner to Asia’s most prestigious marathon, the first citizen of the state, His Excellency, the Governor of Maharashtra Shri. CH. Tata Mumbai Marathon 2018 raises over Rs 34.36 crores, shattering all previous records

The Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM) is much more than a Marathon, it is a showcase for the ‘Can do… Will Do’ spirit of humanity. The event transcends sport and encourages the ‘Power of the Collective’ to make a difference. The event has ignited a spirit of giving, empowering countless individuals to bond with civil society for the change they want to see in it.

United Way of Mumbai, the event’s philanthropy partner, continued their commitment towards charity and shattered all previous records raising over Rs. 34.36 crores, an unprecedented achievement.

With this, the cumulative amount raised by the event in 15 years since its inception in 2004 has breached the Rs 200 crores mark, standing at an impressive Rs. 229.16 crores today. This re-affirms TMM as the single largest sporting platform for philantrophy in India.

 

‘Giving’ through TMM reached a new high as 262 NGOs, 169 Corporates, 266 teams, 231 Young Leaders along with thousands of individual donors and fundraisers came forward to support a host of social causes including Education, Disability, Health Care, Women Empowerment, Children, Animal Welfare & Environment, Livelihood, Social, Civic & Community Development, Art, Elderly, and Gender among others.

Tata Chemicals to acquire Allied Silica for Rs 123cr

Tata Chemicals entered into a Business Transfer Agreement with Allied Silica Limited to acquire their business of precipitated silica for a consideration of ₹ 123 crores, on a slump sale basis. The deal is expected to be closed within three months. This acquisition is a part of the Rs. 295 crore investment approved by the Board during Feb 2017, towards this specialty business.

This agreement includes the acquisition of an existing manufacturing site in Tamil Nadu, which will produce Highly Dispersible Silica (HDS). The specialty chemical product represents a downstream value addition to Tata Chemicals soda ash business, where it ranks among the top manufacturers globally.

 

Commenting on the move, Mr R Mukundan, Managing Director, Tata Chemicals said, ‘This acquisition is another step in our journey to build technologically enabled, differentiated businesses, with greater customer centricity, by leveraging our core strengths. The manufacture of speciality and performance silicas is one such area. This is in line with our focus to grow our specialty business, along with our consumer business.’ Read more

The campaign portrays ‘term product’ an act of selfless love since the purchaser of the product will never get any benefit for his or her own self. The campaign has captures the essence of protection and the responsibility that consumers have towards their loved ones.

 

The digital only campaign created by FCB India and conceptualized by Tata AIA after collating market intelligence and insights over the years. The pilot was launched online on December 15th and has seen huge traction among target audience with over 11 lakh impressions and 20 lakh views in a short span of time. The film depicts a series of instances where a woman is being assaulted by a stalker in various situations, moving to the woman being trained by the same stalker who turns out to be her husband. The husband demonstrates his unconditional love for his wife by taking her painful punches and blows in order to train her enough so that she is able to protect herself under any circumstances, even if he may not be around. TATA Chemicals’ Q3FY17-18 Consolidated PAT at Rs.759 Cr; up by 188%

Tata Chemicals Limited (the “Company”) today declared its Consolidated Financial Results for the third quarter ended December 31st, 2017. The Company reported a Consolidated PAT of Rs. 759 Cr as against Rs. 264 Cr for the corresponding period Q3 FY16-17. Income from continuing operations for the quarter ended December 31st, 2017 on consolidated basis at Rs. 2,574 Cr and PAT from Continuing Operations was recorded at Rs. 545 Cr, up by 176%. Read more
