The Taiwan Trade External Development Council – TAITRA organized an industrial trade seminar on “Taiwan Automobile Manufacturing Forum” in Chennai on 14th June, 2018. Officials from TAITRA, leading Indian automobile companies and many corporate heads have participated in this seminar at Hotel Raintree, Anna Salai, Chennai.

Since Chennai is the automotive manufacturing cluster, the need for advanced manufacturing is more in this region. Officials from prominent Taiwan companies like SEYI, Palmary, G-Shank, YCM, FFG MAC represented in this seminar. Read more

The Taiwan Trade External Development Council – TAITRA organized a seminar on “Investment opportunities in Taoyuan” in Bengaluru on 5th June, 2018. Taoyuan is a planned integrated business city located 40 km southwest of Taipei, Taiwan.

The highlight of the event was the keynote address given by Dr. Da-Nien Liu, Director, Chung-Hua Institute of Economic Research, Taiwan. Speaking at the event, Dr. Da-Nien Liu emphasized the sound industrial confluence in Taoyuan, Business opportunities and future development in Taoyuan and Industrial cooperation between India and Taoyuan. Dum Laga Ke Haisha and Vicky Donor actor and singer Ayushmann Khurrana was in Taiwan recently where he fell in love with the cuisine, culture and people. During his visit, Khurrana was at Taipei’s Presidential Office Building and Bopiliao Old Street and shared his experience on his Instagram handle.
