The boards’ exams are coming and fear of not doing well in exams is causing anxiety among students. It is important for students to be in a calm state of mind and to deal with any emotion that may be causing distress, during examination. To address the feelings and concerns of students and to help them manage their emotions schools are holding counseling sessions and exam-related stress management workshops. While the class 12 CBSE board examinations will start February 15 and conclude April 3, the class 10 board examination will commence February 21 and end March 29.

Most restaurants present challenges for the elderly and the physically challenged – too many stairs to climb, dim lighting, boisterous crowd, etc. What if they could be forewarned about these challenges? Comfort Zone, an app developed by Jayati Sood and Arav Agarwal, Class 12 science students of The Mother’s International School, started out as an attempt to answer this question.

Volkswagen India signed a MoU with Symbiosis Skills and Open University (SSOU), Pune today to donate a Vento to the students of the university. The Vento will be used in SSOU lab for educating students enrolled in the automobile stream. Dr. Andreas Lauermann, President and Managing Director, Volkswagen India Private Limited and Dr. Swati Majumdar, Pro-Chancellor, Symbiosis Skills and Open University were present for the signing ceremony.

 

Volkswagen India runs the Volkswagen Academy with the intention of creating skilled workforce in various areas of manufacturing. At a candid session with the students of The Prahlad Kakar School of Branding and Entrepreneurship, Homi shared his experience and insightful knowledge in the domain of filmmaking.

Talking about the journey in the movie industry, Homi mentioned that his unbounded love for story-telling is what led him to be a filmmaker. Narrating his experiences and challenges while creating movies, he explained how creating the blockbuster romantic-comedy ‘Cocktail’ helped him face his fears, since it was a different genre of work.
