It was business as usual at the Pune Airport on a chilled Sunday morning. Travellers arriving from various parts of the country was in for a pleasant surprise as Pune’s premiere shopping and lifestyle destination, Phoenix Marketcity Pune initiated a unique consumer engagement campaign. As part of 100-day long Phoenix Festival, Phoenix Marketcity Pune celebrated the new year by welcoming visitors and Punekars returning home with a new year gift boxes on the first Sunday of the year, January 6th. While travellers were waiting for their language at the designated conveyor belt, they were surprised to see boxes full of gifts being rolled out. Soon the place was buzzing smiles and chit chat all around as passengers started picking up the gift boxes. People were seen unboxing the surprise gifts with full enthusiasm and clicking pictures with it. Soon the campaign went viral with people posting photographs, thank you messages across various social platforms with hashtag #TheGoodLifeMoment and #happynewyear2019. From the younger ones to the oldest, every passenger received their New Year gift. The videos and pictures have surfaced the internet with people thanking Phoenix market for such an amazing humility in the busiest atmosphere.

Fevicol A+, a specialized adhesive brand for crafting from the house of Pidilite, supported artist Bhagyashree Deshpande in the attempt to etch her name in the prestigious Limca Book of Records by creating the largest paper-quilling Ganesh idol at the High Street Phoenix premises in Mumbai.

Unveiled today, in the build-up to the Ganesh Chaturthi at High Street Phoenix in Lower Parel, the idol stands five feet and two inches tall. Made from 40,000 paper strips glued together with 50 bottles of Fevicol A+ of 85 gms each had been largely completed beforehand by Deshpande and had 50 students from schools across Mumbai come together for applying the finishing touches today.
