Amgoth Tukaram mountaineer reached Africa’s highest Mount Kilimanjaro for your kind perusal.

Two Indians one from Telangana and one from Maharashtra have scaled the highest peak of Mt. Kilemanjaro, at 5895 mts.(19341 FTS) carrying the largest Indian flag and singing the national anthem. Amgoth Tukaram from Telangana and Deepak from Maharashtra are the two mountaineers to have achieved this feat. They have also applied for their feat to be entered into  Limca Book of Records, Indian Records, High Range Book of World Records   on 4th July 2018 @7.30 am. Amgoth Tukaram is all of 19 years, hailing from Yacharam Mandal, Telangana is  pursuing his final year degree in BA from Telangana. Read more

Mount Litera School International (MLSI)- one of Mumbai’s leading IB schools, has brought the first ever Mumbai edition of Bookaroo- India’s first children’s literature festival to the city. The festival is scheduled to take place on 24- 25 February, 2018 at the premises of MLSI- Bandra-Kurla Complex from 11AM to 04:30PM.

 

Since its inception in 2008, Bookaroo has visited nine cities and has held 26 editions in the last 10 years.  This year in Mumbai, the festival will welcome over 20 well established authors, illustrators, poets and storytellers to unveil their magic. A true champion in bringing stories alive through storytelling, dramatized reading, workshops, art and craft, the Festival aims to encourage freedom of thought in young minds thereby promoting a love for literature. Welcoming children as booklovers, the festival is specially curated for 4 to 14 year olds with sessions for every age at every hour.

 

Boookaroo Mumbai will feature a spectacular line-up of speakers with more than 50 sessions to look forward to.  Additionally, there are exciting sessions on wildlife, environment, make your own Patua painting and safari tales.
