Israel Welcomes Indian Ministers and Companies to Agritech 2018

The Embassy of Israel is happy to welcome Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar, Minister of State for Panchayati, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Parshottam Rupala, Agriculture Minister of Maharashtra, Pandurang Pundalik Fundkar, Senior Officials from the State of Punjab, as well as over 100 Indian company representatives to Agritech 2018 in Israel. In all, over one thousand representatives from India will attend the two day conference.

Agritech 2018 is the 20th conference on agricultural technologies taking place in Israel. The conference, beginning tomorrow (8), features speakers from Israel and around the world, sharing know-how, innovation and technology in agriculture and food processing. The theme for this year’s conference is “Agriculture in arid and semi-arid regions”, a topic relevant to large parts of India. Read more

The Embassy of Israel in India in association with the National Gallery of Modern Art in New Delhi and the Petach Tikva Museum of Art is proud to announce a first of its kind Israeli modern art exhibition in New Delhi. The exhibition, titled “To The End of Land”, will revolve around man’s connection with land, territory, locality and identity in innovative modern art pieces and installations. The exhibition is a collection of art creations of 19 Israeli artists, including the internationally acclaimed Shahar Marcuswho will perform at the exhibition opening. Read more

Head of MASHAV Israel to Visit India

Ambassador Gil Haskel, the Head of MASHAV – Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation – will hold an official visit to New Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai, December 4-7. His visit will be highlighted by the launch of the three year action plan for the Indo-Israeli Agricultural Project (IIAP). Read more
