ACEF Awards will honour Rural Initiatives and CSR activities

ACEF is about to organize its 7th Forum and Awards for Branding, Marketing and Rural Initiatives and CSR activities. The event is to be held on 5th October 2018 at Hotel Westin, Mumbai. The theme for this year’s happening would be “Integrating advertising, Branding and Marketing Communications”.  More than 350 senior level professionals from marketing, branding and marketing agencies are expected to attend the event.

 In the event the speakers will enlighten the participants with their knowledge and experience apart from that individuals and organisations will be recognised for brilliance on branding and marketing.  The region’s top companies and brand marketers will redefine how to assemble and prolong great brands amidst rapid cultural and technological change. The event will provide elite spectators of senior marketing executives.

Founded in 2012-13, the ACEF program is organized by a team of professionals from India, Srilanka and UAE and is guided by the Advisory Members from Branding, Marketing and Creative Agencies based in India, US, Australia, Singapore, UAE and Srilanka. WhatsApp condemns the spread of Fake news on the platform, takes series of initiatives to curb this

WhatsApp, the Facebook owned messaging application in India responded to the Indian government, in directive to take measures to check the spread of irresponsible and explosive messages on its platform which have led to unfortunate acts of violence and lynching in the country. In a letter dated July 3, 2018 to Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY), it highlighted several measures that it will be implementing to prevent the misuse of platform in the country by introducing relevant features on the application.

“WhatsApp cares deeply about people’s safety and their ability to freely communicate. We don’t want our services used to spread harmful misinformation and believe this is a challenge that companies and societies should address. For example, we recently made a number of updates to our group chats and will be stepping up efforts to help people spot false news and hoaxes,” said a WhatsApp Spokesperson in a statement. MDIS Announces Transformative Initiatives for 2018

At its annual media gathering today, the Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS), Singapore’s oldest not-for-profit institution for lifelong learning, announced its plans to grow its presence in Singapore and internationally. The institute is also famous among Indian students and offers courses in engineering, arts, hotel management, and humanities, among others. Key initiatives include introducing several new industry-relevant programmes with a focus on skills development, announcing the launch window of its MDIS Malaysia (MDISM) Campus, and unveiling its first dedicated School of Nursing in the private education sector. The institute also shed light on its SkillsFuture courses and trends in the private education industry.
