★ What is Spotlight at Fandom? ★
Bring your story and skill to our stage and spotlight. Share, talk, play and celebrate the abundance of music, dance styles, poetry, stand up and more we have available around us in what is a creatively growing world. If you have a project that’s contributing to making the world a better place (as subjectively as can be), come showcase it under The Spotlight at Fandom at Gilly’s Redefined. This free event is open to amateurs, as well as veterans and spectators of all ages. Instrumentalists, singers, dancers, storytellers, poets, jugglers, magicians and others are all welcome.

★ Performance guidelines ★
Music: 10 mins
Dance Performances: 5 mins
Stand up: 3 mins
Band: 10 mins + 3 min line check
Poetry: 5 mins
Others: 3 mins

Registration closes at 2.00 PM on the day of the event. All registered acts must be present at the venue to confirm and verify their slot between 5:00 pm – 8.00 pm. The first 20 to confirm will be given performance times and slots on the day of the event. The schedule will be published online on all of our social media platforms.

Performances will begin at 8.00 PM. Registration is open to everyone. You will be asked to provide your ID to confirm your slot.

A total of 20 slots are up for grabs on the night.

The Spotlight is a free show, so we do not take reservations or sell tickets for this. The doors open for seating at 7:30pm. Grab a drink, order some food, sit back and be sure to support those appearing on stage; it’s not as easy as it looks.
