Govt. of Karnataka is organizing a one day regional workshop for the southern region on August 7, 2018 at Taj Vivanta, MG Road, Bengaluru. The workshop aims to discuss states plan and would seek suggestions for establishing an enabling ecosystem for transforming mobility in the country. The outcome of the workshop will play a major role in giving direction to state level mobility strategy.
The one day workshop, supported by WEC India as knowledge partner, is organized to gear up for the momentum on NITI Aayog’s India’s First Global Mobility Summit, ‘MOVE’ a global Mobility Summit to be scheduled on 7-8 September, 2018. NITI Aayog has constituted a core group of experts to provide intellectual inputs to the Summit and also constituted a State Level Task force on Mobility to develop state specific mobility strategies. As part of the core group expert, Mr. Seethapathy Chander will be representing WEC India. He is also the nodal person of state level task force for Southern states (Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telengana, Karnataka, Pondicherry and Lakshadweep). Read more
