Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s sister Bhanumathi Narasimhan today launched her book Gurudev: On The Plateau Of The Peak – The Life Of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the first-ever official biography of the revered spiritual leader and founder of The Art of Living – Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, at Royal Opera House, Mumbai. “I have not authorized either Juggernaut Publications or Yaseer Usman to write / publish my biography. Our lawyers had sent them a legal notice, in response to which Juggernaut Publications said that contents of the proposed book are based on information available in public domain from authentic sources. However from the excerpts that are appearing in the newspaper are partly based on my old interviews but rest all seemed to be based on hearsay, 1990s tabloids and gossip magazines, most of which are figments of imagination and not true. Blind Doctor Samir Mansuri – BIOGRAPHY

Dr Samir Mansuri was born blind as a bat. His tale of woe began as soon as he was born. According to his own admission, his mother tried to drown him in a tub full of boiling hot water and claim that he fell in the tub accidently while playing as he was blind and unable to see. Fortunately his uncle saved him in the nick of time. Gifted with a very keen sense of hearing which he was conscious of since a young age, this incident changed his life. After this incident his family sent him to an NGO-run boarding school for the blind so that they could be rid of him.
