L’Oréal Paris celebrated 15 years of glitz and glamour as the official make- up artist for Cannes Film Festival this year. For 15 years, the brand has loyally supported the Cannes film festival playing an active role in promoting cinema and contributing to the events glamour. This year it was no different.
Once again, L’Oréal Paris has pushed the boundaries of make-up with its new “L’Or” range, entitled “L’Or Electric”. This collection has been specially created for the Cannes Film Festival, and enabled L’Oréal Paris’ make-up artists to create the most daring and glamorous look on the Croisette. Eyes, lips and nails will be full of bold colour. Celebrities sported the Glam Team’s inspired creations on the red carpet throughout the 12 days of the Festival.
Brand ambassadors Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Freida Pinto and Sonam Kapoor represented the brand from India at Cannes film festival this year. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan attended the L’Oréal Paris – amfAR (The American Foundation for AIDS Research) dinner and after-party on May 24th .L’Oréal Paris is a presenting sponsor of this traditional dinner held to raise funds in the fight against AIDS, thereby supporting an international event that is a key part of the Festival. Freida Pinto graced the red carpet at the prestigious opening ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival on the 16th of May while Sonam A Kapoor graced the red carpet at the prestigious closing ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival on the 27th of May.
While at Cannes Film Festival, these divas sported the Glam Team’s inspired ‘L’Or Electric’ creations; world renowned make -up artists Karim Rahman and Billy B delivered their individual interpretations of the “L’Or Electric” theme. The L’Oréal Paris’ Beauty Artistry team including colourist Christophe Robin, hairdressers John Nollet and Stéphane Lancien, along with Artists like Joëlle Ciocco – L’Oréal Paris’ Global Facialist -and Tom Bachik, manicurist to the stars, were present to lend their leading-edge Beauty expertise.
