MVJ College of Engineering Conducts Two-day free Workshop on “PC Assembling and Troubleshooting” for Government Polytechnic Students

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiate, the CSE, ISE & MCA Departments of MVJ College of Engineering conducted a two-day free workshop on “PC Assembling and Troubleshooting and OS installation” recently for the Government polytechnic students at their campus in Bangalore. MVJ College of Engineering is amongst those institutions in Bangalore, which believes in encouraging CSR activities and actively contributes toward the development of the society. MVJCE always tries to make sure that their students are known as good corporate citizens and also follow ethics by doing things the right way.

 

The two day free workshop was attended by over 45 students. Principal of MVJCE, Dr. Badarinarayan inaugurated the workshop and addressed the students where he explained as to why they organised this workshop and asked the students to make use of this opportunity as much as they can. The two-day workshop consisted of practical sessions and hands-on experience on PC assembling and troubleshooting followed by Os installation.

 

At the end of the practical knowledge and hands on experience, students took an assessment test and based on their performance, the certificates were given to the participants.

 

 

The dignitaries who presided over this two-day free workshop included Dr. Shukla, HOD-Department of Chemistry, Prof.S.C.Gupta HOD-Aeronautical Engineering, Prof.Gayathri, HOD-Department of Information Science & Engineering and Prof. Latha, HOD-MCA.

    Professor, Vidya Vikasa Trust, a registered charitable Trust approved by the Income Tax Dept., Govt. of India, under Section 12 A (a) of Income Tax Act 1961, where the donors have the privilege of tax exemption U/S. 80 (G) of I.T Act 1961. Sir, if so far Vidya Vikasa trust has helped the said 882 visually impaired student’s, it is because of moral & financial support given by donors in the group level of Life Member, Pradhana Poshaka, Vidya Poshaka, Poshaka, Sneha Jyothi, Snehastha etc.,.

    Professor, Kindly help to blind student’s college education, if you don’t help who will help them? who will guide them? They are born blind. With great efforts they have come to this college level. Please help to proceed further and made them “self-dependent” at least in 2019-20, they have not seen their parent’s faces let alone God. Help them what is possible from your side.

    Kindly look into the problems of Blind students’ college Education. Vidya Vikasa trust is giving financial assistance & in addition to this providing Tape Recorders, Braille literature books, Braille watches, Portable Media Player, walking sticks, Sunglasses etc., for the visually impaired both from rural & urban areas. The Trust is also conducting Refresher Classes to this especially abled Group on Saturdays & Sundays as this is more convenient to them & in addition to this Trust

    Professor, every Blind for his college studies during the current academic year 2019-20 requires a minimum fee payment ranging from Rs.6,000- to Rs.8,680- fee which Financial assistance is needed. Kindly Help what is possible from your side. This will meet the estimated details for Rs.8,680/- includes
    1. Hostel fee includes Rs.6000 5 Brail watch Rs.650
    2. Cost of Memory Card, Portable Media Player Rs.1500 6 Medical Expenses Rs. 200
    3. Sun glass Rs.180 7 Total Expenses Rs. 8,680
    4. Detective stick Rs.150
    Professor, as at present trust needs approximately Rs.8,68,600/- to help 100 students @ Rs.8,680/- per year. But Vidya Vikasa trust is able to realize approximately Rs.4 Lakhs and thereby awarding between Rs.3000/- & Rs.3,500/- at an average per student there by students are not only getting insufficient financial assistance but also more number of students are deprived even to get this small assistance. This amount is paid out of the interest realized on the deposits made by VVT.

    Also, ‘Vidya Vikasa’ has helped to educate thousands of students through non-commercialized education system mainly helping economically backward & poor students. Besides this the Trust is conducting (i) Science study circle by professors from the prestigious I.I.Sc., (ii) Hindi classes to the level of ‘Rastrabasha Praveen’ (iii) free health camp (iv) Free eye camp in co-ordination with the Lion’s Club etc.,
