Actress Pooja Chopra, former Miss India 2009 inaugurated Gold’s Gym India in Hadapsar, Pune

Gold’s Gym, one of the leading names in the fitness and health industry worldwide, celebrates 10 years of providing a holistic approach to the health and well being of its members, proudly launched its 82nd well equipped fitness centre on Wednesday 26th June 2013 at Pune- Hadapsar with great pomp and splendour.

The gala affair witnessed the ribbon cutting by the Pune girl Actress Pooja Chopra, former Miss India 2009 and best known for her splendid performance in Commando. Present to do the honours were Mr. G Ramachandran, Director Gold’s Gym India; Mr. Karan Valecha, Director Gold’s Gym India and Mr. Istayak Ansari, Chief Operating Officer Gold’s Gym India along with the Gold’s Gym team.

Amrit Dhaliwal, India’s First Fitness PRO Model & FHM Model arrived later and was awestruck by the opulence of the newly launched gym. Ms. Vaishali Bankar Mayor of Pune, Mr Jayant Bhogle ACP and Mr. Sagar Chordia, Managing Director Panchshil Group also graced the occasion.

Gold’s gym at One North is the largest Gold’s Gym facility in India. All of 30,000 sq ft, this gym gives the feel of a modern clubhouse with a completely equipped gym and a pool with a separate free weight section, group exercise, spinning and functional training studio.

The inauguration commenced with a press conference in the group ex studio; followed by the unveiling of the Gold’s Gym trophy and certificate, cake cutting ceremony. Members and guests were entertained with stunning dance acts by Belly dancers and Broadway dancers with live DJ Music adding to the upbeat mood of the celebration. This was followed by a sumptuous dinner by the poolside.
