The Sister Library is a project, started by Aqui Thami, which aims to bring together readers to explore the literature, showcase the art and celebrate the contributions of women in the creative world. The goal is to create an interest in understanding the accomplishments of women writers, artists and create a space where knowledge is shared and produced.

On 22nd and 23rd June, Church Street Social and Sister Library are hosting an Art Bazaar on from 12-7pm where artwork by 50+ local artists from Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Bombay and Kerala will be on sale to raise funds for Sister Library.

The Art Bazaar will be infused with workshops, a live drawing booth by @spreefirit and a poetry pharmacy in collaboration with Bangalore Busking. Through this exhibit, Social x Sister Library are bringing together readers and artists to explore literary contributions, showcase artistic quality and come together as a community to allow smaller artists to exhibit their work.

Similar editions have been hosted in Bombay and Ahmedabad with a contribution of 100+ artists and counting!
