Bharti Walmart’s Private Brand ‘Great Value’ Navratan Mixture wins prestigious IFCA Star-2011 Award

Bharti Walmart today announced that its Private Brand ‘Great Value’ Navratan Mixture has won the IFCA Star-2011 Award in the category ‘Structural and Graphic Design for Improved Aesthetics’. Amongst the foremost packaging excellence awards, IFCA Star makes the winner eligible to compete for the Asia Star and World Star Award.

IFCA (formerly known as PFFCA) is the leading industry body representing India’s ‘Paper, Film, and Foil Convertor’ sector. Working for the advancement of the packaging sector, IFCA recognizes excellence in the field of Packaging Design, Development, Innovation and Creativity.

Walmart’s leading Global Grocery brand, Great Value was launched in 1993. Today it has a presence in more than 15 countries with 30 million happy consumers across the world. In 2008, with more than 500 products under its brand, Great Value was launched in India exclusively at Bharti Retail’s easyday and easyday Market stores.

Bharti Walmart Private Limited is a business-to-business (B2B) joint venture between Bharti Enterprises and Walmart for wholesale cash-and-carry and back-end supply chain management operations in India to serve small retailers, manufacturers and farmers.
