DHFL Pramerica Life Insurance sets up a “Claims Help desk” for Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh cyclone victims

DHFL Pramerica Life Insurance Co. Ltd. has set up a special help desk to service the policyholders affected by the cyclone in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. For a quick settlement of claims, the company has simplified the claim documentation requirements and has appointed nodal officers to oversee the claim settlement process.

“We at DHFL Pramerica Life Insurance express our heartfelt condolence to the families hit by the devastating cyclones in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.  To help the bereaved families, we have set up a “Claims Help desk” and have appointed nodal officers for rendering pro-active services to the policyholders and their beneficiaries. The process of claim documentation has also been simplified in order to expedite claim settlements”, said Mr. Anoop Pabby, Managing Director and CEO, DHFL Pramerica Life Insurance.

 

The company has issued a list of the documents required to process the claim:

  • Municipal Death Certificate or Death certified by any competent Government authority like local Government of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh/ Armed Forces / Government Hospitals / Police Authority
  • Completely filled Death Claim Form
  • Claimant ID, residence proof & bank account details to ensure claims are paid to genuine beneficiaries
  • Insurance policy document (if available)
