Hailing from the pristine beauty of exotic islands of Andaman and Nicobar,Ankit D’Souza will be seen opposite Richa Chadha in a music video releasing in January, 2019. Calling it a dream come true, Ankit says “Working with luminaries like Pradeep Sarkar, Richa Chadha has been a dream come true. Working with them was like going to a Gurukul. They made me feel at ease & comfortable & inspired me to give my best shot. While Richa was very easy going, Pradeep sir was a task master, he is a perfectionist, he makes sure the actors turn his vision into reality”
Insisting that his foray into the world of performing arts was not a flash-in-the-pan decision, BBA by profession , Ankit says that it’s his passion & love for the craft of acting which is the prime factor that attracts him to be a part of Bollywood “Ever since I can remember, acting has not been a dream, it has been an obsession. I never settled for modeling, ads or TVCs, it was always about the hero role for me. You know what’s the best part of acting , you become a different person, a different soul. Isn’t it beautiful?”
“It took me days and nights to make myself that capable to come into the frame and to be ready to face this real cinema world , where I was blessed to meet Dada(Pradeep Sarkar) after putting so much effort into auditions, banging doors and meeting so many people as its very difficult without any godfather around and me being a Boy from Andaman which people dont even know is a part of India was not normal , was not easy” adds the upfront ambitious actor.
Ankit polished his acting skills at Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute. On his journey to pursue his dreams, he spelled his brilliance in theatre & mastered his skills under the guidance of theatre actors.
