The song Tere Bina Zindagi Se, originally voiced by the divine duo of Lata Mangeshkar and Kishore Kumar for the 1975 Bollywood movie Aandhi is a fine example of the musical brilliance of R.D. Burman, and a legend in its own right. Every time one listens to this timeless melody, it invokes feelings of lost love and unfulfilled desires. The passage of time has diminished neither the meaning nor the soul of this song, and the melancholy of it still resonates deeply with old and young alike. Actor Rishabh Tiwari in his recent cover seems to have captured the essence of the original tune in this fitting tribute.
Sung by Rishabh himself, who works with a marketing agency, the soundtrack also features the glamorous Eshita Shah and is captivatingly shot in Lonavala. Rishabh and his team have lovingly re-crafted the music, adding some of their original lyrics, careful to keep the spirit of the song alive, but at the same time adding to it a quintessential flavor. The music video also narrates a story about heartbreak and regret which winds alongside the music and the lyrics.
The music has been beautifully re-arranged and re-composed by Tarun Sharma, Munnavar Sadat has contributed the additional lyrics to the song and the project is directed by Anuradha Nishad. The team has really come together to do some amazing work which resulted in this piece of art. Listen to it once and it is sure to find a permanent place in your playlist!
