NFDC and Drumroll Pictures hosted the press screening of Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain followed by media interaction with the cast and crew of the film in New Delhi

The National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) and Drumroll Pictures hosted a press screening of the film Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain at the Films Division auditorium in New Delhi today. The screening was followed by a media interaction with the cast and crew of the film which included actors Sanjay Mishra, Ekavali Khanna, Shivani Raghuvanshi, Anshuman Jha, producer Manav Malhotra (of Drumroll Pictures) and director Harish Vyas.

During the interaction, the cast and crew of the film enthusiastically responded to the questions posed by members of the media and engaged in a witty banter much to the delight of those present. They also shared interesting anecdotes related to the making of the film, thereby making it a truly unforgettable affair.

Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain is a quirky film, set in rustic Varanasi and boasts of real-life characters and situations one can relate to, especially for those who are or have ever been in love. Presented by NFDC and produced by Manav Malhotra of Drumroll Pictures in association with Bunty Khaan’s Shiny Entertainment. The film which is co-produced by Swaroop Chaturvedi is scheduled for a pan-India theatrical release on 18th May 2018.

Actor Sanjay Mishra who was present at the press screening and media interaction said, “I was pleasantly surprised and delighted to see the film receive such a warm and enthusiastic response by the members of the media. This was more than evident in the interaction wherein they posed several interesting questions regarding the film.”


Actor Ekavali Khanna said, “It was so nice to see the people who attended the screening, warm up to the film in such a big way. The media interaction was also so enjoyable thanks to the people who posed a host of interesting questions and made it such a fun affair.”


Actor, Anshuman Jha said, “I was delighted to see such positive reactions to the film. It is such an encouraging sign. I cannot wait to see the audiences’ reaction to the film.”


Actor, Shivani Raghuvanshi said, “This was such a reassuring and great experience which became even more memorable thanks to the wonderful media interaction that followed the screening.”


Harish Vyas, the director of Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain was delighted to see the positive response to the film and said, “This was the first public screening we did for the Indian media and I was anxious to know their response to the same.  It was heartening to see them react so positively to the film. It reaffirms the faith and conviction we have invested in the film and we are eagerly looking forward to the film’s release.”

Harish Vyas is a Fine Arts graduate and an Artist by profession. He has directed several films, short films, documentaries and corporate films including a Punjabi language film titled Proper Patola.

Drumroll Pictures was established in 2015 and is founded by writer, director and producer Manav Malhotra.  He has graduated from New York Film Academy and is a constant contributor to various film projects. Currently, from New Jersey, USA, known for projects like ROAD – Reality of a Dream (2011), Tomorrow Ever After (2016), Wireless (2009), Come Back Hailey (2014) and critically acclaimed award-winning short film The Visit (2015).
