Seawoods Grand Central Mall, Navi Mumbai’s ultimate fashion destination, in true spirit of Maharashtra, celebrates Maharashtra Diwas with a 50 ft by 50 ft Sanskar Bharti Eco-friendly Rangoli. The entire Rangoli has been created by using bio-degradable and environment friendly colors.
The Rangoli is centered with a silhouette of Raigad Fort and depicts the folk dance and folk music of Maharashtra. The play of bright colors makes it look like a “Gaalicha” which means carpet in Marathi.
It took a team of 15 people and 14 hours to make this Rangoli which depicts Maharashtra in all its glory. Seawoods Grand Central Mall also welcomes all its patrons in a traditional Marathi style. The hostesses wearing Navvari sarees, offered a warm welcome to the visitors with a ‘Tika’.
