The audition round of the Kiddies Fashion Show organized by Corronet Innovations saw 200 kids aged 5 – 11 years scorching the ramp without any hesitation. The selected models who have been trained by modeling coaches will walk the runway. Affirming on the decision to host the fashion show, “It’s about the need to promote confidence in our children more than anything”, Naresh Vasant, the CEO of C.P. Goenka International School pointed out.
Ravindra Nayak, Managing Director, Corronet Innovations speaking on the occasion said; “We have never seen so much energy on the ramp even with professional models. Aiming to give kids a fashion show of their own as a platform to showcase their skills, Corronet Innovations seek to nurture the children’s interest in fashion. After the audition round there will be grooming sessions and personality development workshop. We are all set to have a fun-filled finale on 28th April.”
Actress Samiksha Bhatt, whose next movie ‘The Past’ is to be released soon said “The event was all about good style and cute kids. Am looking forward to the finale.” Fashion stylist & TV personality Imam Siddique said “I am proud to be a part of the event with tiny tots. The kids showcased so much oomph that is difficult to find on the popular runway models”
Actress Harshali Zine said “I also started in standard 3, and got to relive my childhood today. I believe that this show opens a lot of doors for the kids and makes them more focused.” Actress Jahnavi Kiran Killekar said “Children are often extroverts in their own homes, but introverted outside. Shows like these change that.”
Choreographer Mohit Agarwal said “I feel kids, especially today, really need that boost to overcome stage fear. Kiddies Fashion provided a wonderful platform for the same.”
Judging by the smiles on both the staff and the parents’ faces, watching their little models stride down the catwalk, this was a very proud moment. There were also photos booths and other fun activities for families.
