Usually on a chilled morning of Jaipur full of fog and mist, jaipurites are in their sweet morning sleep but on 4 th February, the scenario would be poles apart! Amidst of chilly breeze, fog and mist Jaipurites would be out on the running tracks accompanied by 75,000 runners from across 20 countries to fulfill our dream of smart city. The run for AU Bank Jaipur Marathon will start from our loved heritage Albert Hall Museum.
Famous Celebrity from modeling & acting fraternity and record holder runner will run along with the runners of marathon to cheer them up on the running track. The scenario is very unlike to previous years where celebrities are just found confined to their stages. Iron Man, Milind Soman will be seen running in AU Bank Jaipur Marathon on 4th Feb, 2018.
In between the countdown days, the organisers of AU Bank Jaipur Marathon, World Trade Park & Sanskriti Yuva Sanstha held a press conference in Holiday Inn, Jaipur City Centre.
In the conference, president of Sanskriti Yuva Sanstha, Pandit Suresh Mishra reminded us that IronMan Milind Soman at the age of 50 years hold a record of barefoot running for 517 km. And in year 2015, Milind had won the world title Iron Man after competing in world’s toughest triathlon including swimming 3.8 km in 15 hours 19 minutes, 180.2 km cycling followed by 42.2 km of running. Such heroes’ participation in AU Bank Jaipur Marathon will definitely inspire other runners on the running track.
Celebrities over the years: Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Akshay Khanna, Farhan Akhtar, Vivek Oberoi, Suniel Shetty, Kangana Ranaut, Arbaz Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Dharmendra, Mukesh Khanna, Mugdha Godse, Shreya Sarin, Rajeev Khandelwal, Anu Malik, Satish Kaushik, Kajol Agrwal, Rahul Dravid and many more have been part of Jaipur Marathon.
