Bahrain based Brave Combat Federation to officially initiate operations in India during the Financial Year 2017.
A press conference was held on 17th November, 04:00 Pm at the Courtyard by Marriott, Andheri East Mumbai. The press conference was held to announce the comprehensive investment plan and mode of operation of KHK – Brave Combat Federation in India and the directive principles supported by All India Mixed Martial Arts Federation towards the growth and welfare of Indian athletes and Indian MMA.
Present at the occasion were Mohammed Shahid – CEO & President – KHK & Brave Combat Federation, Valeria Lang, Operations Head along with Top Indian athletes Abdul Muneer, Pavan Maan and Mohammed Farhad, Indian actor and fitness enthusiast Sahil Khan and Indian actor, model and director, Parvin Dhabas.
Brave Combat Federation is on a progressive expansion phase after conducting their pilot event Brave – The Beginning at Manama, Bahrain. Brave Combat Federation is the brain child of the Prince of Bahrain Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa who is also the President of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation and the first deputy chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports.
Investments in Indian Sports and Entertainment industry will be key for the expansion phase. Key dignitaries from film industry, sports and entertainment industry will address the agendas of investment and details of operations by the Brave Combat Federation in India. This initiative will open avenues in India for quality MMA events, world class facilities and opportunities for athletes.
Prince of Bahrain Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa who is also the President of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation has announced a road map for investments in the Indian Sports and Entertainment industry during FY17.
Among the key priorities announced, development and investments in Indian sports entertainment industry is highlighted. This will be propagated in association with All India Mixed Martial Arts Federation. Investment relations with India is focused as a key step for the constantly growing interests of GCC in the sports and entertainment sector.
Bahrain based Brave Combat Federation will initiate its operations in India with its key focus on the MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) sports. This will provide a global platform for Indian athletes and access to world class facilities. The media conference will reveal the level of investment, opportunities, infrastructure and facilities allocated for India.
Indian MMA sports witnessed exponential growth and popularity with Indian athletes representing India in multiple International fight events and winning some key championship against toughest foreign fighters. MMA have made huge strides in popular culture with big budget films coming up with MMA themes such as Sultan, Saala Khadoos, Brothers and Bhaagi.
