To cater to the needs of today’s global local, Foodlink Restaurants (India) Pvt. Ltd. has recently launched the flagship outlet of Glocal Junction, a new-age hangout place in Andheri (West), Mumbai.
After witnessing the colossal success of the existing brands – Bungalow 9, China Bistro and India Bistro, this is the fourth format added to the Foodlink umbrella. Glocal Junction, which denotes the exuberance the space showcases, is an idyllic place for a hangout with a spacious indoor – outdoor seating area that offers a perfect setting to spend time with your dear ones.
Sanjay Vazirani, Founder and CMD of Foodlink Restaurants (India) Pvt. Ltd., celebrated the chords of glitzy glamorous launch party in his own unique style. It was a razzle dazzle launch where guests were welcomed in with a blast of merriment. The flashes from the camera and the glowing ambience lead to be an unforgettable night.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sanjay Vazirani called it a glocal phenomenon. “Glocal Junction is all about being local at heart and the inspiration to cultivate this seed actually came from nothing but from the life that we see around. We are all in a race to be as global as we can, to be able to fit in this realm of globalized culture, but deep in our hearts we enjoy being local the most.
We yearn for that homey solace where we could just be ourselves; we yearn to be glocal – to be global and local at the same time. Glocal is about embracing and rejoicing the virtue of being just you. After the launch of our flagship outlet in Mumbai, we will soon be opening in Hyderabad and Bangalore by March 2016.” explained Mr. Vazirani.
Sanjay Vazirani was seen greeting all his guests as they walked in and hanging out with them making them feel comfortable and chilled out. The party at Glocal Junction was attended by Pratap Sarnaik, Purvesh Sarnaik, Zulfi Syed, Shefali Zariwala, Vindu Dara Singh and many page 3 socialites who joined in to celebrate the launch.
The food highlights for the evening included the Glocal avatars like wild cheddar sauce, Thai style sabudana wadas, mixed bhajiyas, grills, sufiyani biryanis, paella biryanis, tandoori chicken I risotto, makhani ratatouille lasgne and desi shepherd’s pie. The desserts included masala chai panacotta and kalkatta paan cheese cake. The bar showcased Black Magic, Glocal Long Island Tea, Toxic Box, Coalition and Thailee.
So make sure to drop by for a drink (or two!) at the newest hotspot in the Burbs.
