Gulmurg, the fine dining restaurant at The Shalimar Hotel, Kemps Corner is hosting a parantha festival between 1st and 15th August, 2012. A special menu has been created by the chef that includes different types of parantha. The highlight of the menu is that all these paranthas are prepared in different styles. Some of them roasted and topped with butter, shallow fried or pan grilled. But all have that delectable chef’s touch which makes it all so delicious. The menu also has options for vegetarians and non vegetarians alike.
Besides the traditional aloo parantha, mooli parantha and gobi majedar, there are many more to choose from. Pasanda paneer, changa cheese (soft from inside and crisp on the outside), dhingri da bhangda (spicy and sautéed mushroom stuffed in the perfectly roasted paranthas) are some of the various choices.
The non vegetarians can feast on Lababdar kheema (spicy kheema), reshmi chicken da parantha (tandoori smoked chicken reshmi tikka) etc.
The chef specials include pyaz aur mirch ka dhamaka (chef special prepared with red onion and green chilly) and mutter cheese masti (peas and cheese in chefs secret recipe). All paranthas are served with raita, dal makhni, spicy pickle and a pint of beer.
Pricing: Rs 250/ vegetarian and Rs 295/ non vegetarian
