Arun Muchhala Group plans to invest Rs.500 crore in Hospitality by 2017

Arun Muchhala Group, one of Mumbai’s leading real estate giant and developer recently launched their new luxury hotel brand, “The Byke Suraj Plaza”, in Thane and aims at penetrating the premier economy segment with this property.The current property which features 122 keys with stunning views, a 24 hour multi cuisine dining restaurant, state of the art banquet, a sports bar airing all major sports events and a fitness centre is set to redefine luxury for ‘Thaneites’.

With plans to expand with a four star property in Baroda, a five star apartment studio hotel in Thane and a five star spa resort in Lonavla with 100 villas, The Arun Muchhala Group intends to invest Rs.500 crores by 2017 and add 500 rooms. Their current project has an investment of about Rs. 100 crores.

Strategically located at Godhbunder Road, the hotel offers extensive facilities for social events and meetings. Spread over 1,50,000 sq ft, the versatile indoor and outdoor space features State of Art banquet with separate double height ceiling banquet dining area is designed to bring live entertainment and the best of the local destination to business and social gatherings.

On its launch, Akshita Gandhi Muchhala, MD (Hospitality), Arun Muchhala Group said “The group has an old connection with Thane, right from Maharashtra’s first theme water park (Suraj Water Park) to educational institutes (Muchhala Polytechnic College), Thane has always supported all our initiatives. This is our first venture in the hospitality sector. Thane is fast emerging as a cultural and business hub with a budding IT establishment, companies experience the influx of international crowds from around the world and there is a disparity between the demand and supply of hotels in Thane. We have aimed to cater to this disparity and have aimed to create an iconic landmark in Thane.”
