Israeli PM Visit to India

The Embassy of Israel is proud to announce the State Visit of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to India. The Prime Minister will arrive in New Delhi on January 14th and depart from Mumbai on January 19th. The visit will include New Delhi, Gujarat and Mumbai.

During his visit, the Prime Minister will hold meetings in New Delhi with President Kovind, Prime Minister Modi, and Minister of External Affairs Swaraj. In addition, the Prime Minister will give an inaugural speech at the Raisina Dialogue and meet with the Indo-Israeli CEO forum in Delhi. Read more

Times Network is deeply saddened by the horrific fire tragedy at Mumbai’s Kamala Mills, where the Network’s office is located. Our deepest condolences and prayers to the families, of those killed and injured in the accident. The magnitude of the fire was huge, disrupting our operations temporarily. All our employees were evacuated safely.

ASCI Upholds Compliants againts 200 Advertisements out of 319

Highlights:

In October 2017, ASCI’s Consumer Complaints Council (CCC) upheld complaints against 200 advertisements. A total of 319 cases were brought to ASCI’s notice and Suo Moto action was taken against 148 advertisements, and the rest being complaints through direct sources. Out of 200 advertisements against which complaints were upheld, 82 belonged to healthcare, 75 to education, 11 to personal care, eight to the food & beverages category and 24 from other categories. India Today comes with the most accurate Exit Poll for Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017

Amid a series of exit polls by a number of media houses, the India Today-Axis My India Exit Poll got their prediction spot on for the Gujarat assembly elections 2017. All the exit polls were unanimous in predicting BJPs victory in the most awaited election of the year – Gujarat Assembly Elections, but a majority of them were off the mark while forecasting the victory margin for the saffron party.

 

The India Today-Axis My India exit poll had predicted 99-113 seats for the ruling BJP and 68-82  seats for the Congress making it the most accurate Exit Poll. Most of the exit polls had predicted over 110 seats for the party but it could only manage 99 seats in the 182-member Assembly in Gujarat, the home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The India Today-Axis My poll was the only one to predict that the BJP could slip under 100. Read more
